BRENO · COIMBRA

Hi, I'm Breno

Coimbra is a city that rewards patience. It doesn't hand you its stories: you have to walk it slowly to find them.

That's exactly what I love doing. Turning a walk through stone streets and old staircases into a conversation about the people who actually lived here: kings, students, poets and everyone in between.

See you at Arcos do Jardim.

Who we are

Discover Coimbra grew out of Breno's walks through the city. It's a different way of showing Coimbra: no memorized script, just conversation, curiosity and care for whoever has just arrived.

We started from scratch, with an invitation to show the city and a real hunger to learn. Every street was studied, every story was checked, and every tour made the next one better.

We weren't born here. We chose Coimbra, and that's why we show it through the eyes of someone who is still amazed by it, from the aqueduct to the banks of the Mondego.

Today we welcome travelers from all over the world, every day, in small groups. What drives us is simple: that you finish the tour truly knowing Coimbra and feeling you were well looked after.
